This big family-oriented cityFEST (formerly known as the Arts and Wine Festival) is held in Foster City on the first weekend in June every year (this year from Friday eve – Sunday, 6/1/18 – 6/3/18).

More than 40,000 visitors are expected. It is located adjacent the Lagoon in Leo J Ryan Park. $10 paid parking will be available nearby (will be confirmed later). This is a non-smoking event. Dogs are allowed but not recommended. Admission to the festival is FREE.
Kids especially love it and, even as big as this festival is, it remains a family oriented event with a very local, safe and relaxed flavor. There is an old-fashioned carnival with over 20 rides ranging from a big ferris wheel to train rides for toddlers, over 175 booths by local vendors, dozens of food stands including beer & wine, a local art & quilting expo in the recreation center, and live bands on Meadows Stage all day. Other entertainment includes Dragon Boat races, model boat races & exhibit, and kayak, paddleboard & electric boat rentals … or just enjoy regular lagoon activities. The dates and times (subject to confirmation) for 2018 are as follow:
- Carnival: Friday evening 6/1/18, from 5 pm-11 pm; Saturday 10 am-11 pm, Sunday 10 am-7 pm.
- Festival: Saturday 6/2/18, 11 am-7 pm; Sunday 6/4/17, 11 am-5:30 pm.
- Entertainment: Saturday, 11 am-8:30 pm; Sunday 11 am-6 pm.
