This older center is a hub of local activity. There are something like 24 miscellaneous small businesses here many of which are very popular with locals. Too bad it’s scheduled to become a school in the next few years. The businesses include:
- Tokie’s Japanese Restaurant – Here for some 30 years. People from all over the Bay area like their sushi.
- Chalet Ticino – Swiss-Italian restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating.
- India Cash & Carry – Indian foods market
- United Studio of Self Defense – Martial arts
Also, the only Farmers Market in town uses this parking lot on Saturday mornings, from 9 am – 1 pm, and Wednesday afternoons, from 2:30 pm-6:30 pm year round, . This farmer’s market is small but uncrowded and quite pleasant.
