Small place (10 tables inside plus a couple outside), small menu … but has to be the best breakfast place in town. Their unique signature breakfast dish, prime beef hash with bacon & eggs on top, is truly extraordinary!
Owned and run by Bill Chow, an excellent culinary artist who gives cooking classes, is on KQED TV, runs the kitchen on Princess Cruise Line tours, and does catering for small or for large groups up to 800.
Open weekends only (Fri 6 pm-9 pm, Sat & Sun 8 am-12:30 pm). They serve just a few special dinners every Friday evening including soup, salad and desert (e.g., creme brulee with special chocolate chip cookie). Our favorite is the special prime rib dinner for $32.88. Call ahead for details and reservations.
