Seal Point Park is another nearby park (in San Mateo) dog lovers will want to investigate. The enclosed dog portion is much bigger than the Foster City Dog Park but not as well maintained.
The adjacent Seal Point Park is built on landfill. There is a big hill to climb and the San Francisco Bay Trail runs along the eastern side. It’s reasonably close to Foster City on the way to Coyote Point via the SF Bay Trail.
